KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has departed for Washington, D.C., for a two-day visit at the invitation of World Bank Group President Ajay Banga.

During the visit, Wagle is scheduled to meet senior officials from the World Bank, the U.S. government and private-sector investors.

Discussions will focus on post-flood reconstruction, additional development assistance, infrastructure investment, job creation and expanding private-sector investment in Nepal.
